Happy 2nd Year Anniversary to Dr. Drai

It’s my 2nd year anniversary, Boos!

Yes, Dr. Drai has been raising this BABY called blogging for two long years now and I have got to say that CARRYING THAT PREGNANCY and going through the PAIN DURING LABOR was all worth it. Now DrDrai.com is in the TODDLER stage. I never knew how much more fun I’d have with my #GYNEGirls, #Preggos and #GENTs by personally DELIVERING the most updated women’s (and sometimes men’s) health reports to you via the web. I HEART teaching you new things about your bodies. DOCTOR means “to teach” in Latin. Getting to know you all better has been the highlight of my becoming #AmericasOBGYN. Who knew you could know someone better after seeing them in stirrups, right? BTW just in case you didn’t know; my title of #AmericasOBGYN came from YOU. So humbling.

I want to take every moment I can to THANK YOU! THANK you! thank you! These two years have been a learning experience; like babies, blogs require a learning curve, to be fed, diapers changed, and clothed daily, taught how to walk and talk, and they can hurt your feelings too. Believe that! I’ve LISTENED to your advice #GYNEGirls – blog about this topic, use these pictures, write this kind of book – like any other PARENT would do. But just like any child this blog is now a part of me and I’m loving watching it grow. Now we have over 22,000 engaged supporters on social media and we have had over 100,000 UNIQUE FAMILY members that visited our website this year. Yes I said FAMILY; that’s what you all are to me. I’m crying NOW. Still can’t believe it #Preggos.

Blogging has opened doors for me to not only be your virtual OBGYN but also to write two books: “20 Things You May Not Know About The Penis” AND “20 Things You May Not Know About The Vagina“, put on a SOLD OUT SIX city Dinner With Dr. Drai Book Tour, do more public speaking on a national platform on women’s health concerns, and be a health expert in the media. We have been fortunate enough to bring “Medical T” (Tips) to the masses 115 times to be exact by marrying the media. Not too bad for a toddler right #GENTs? Here’s one of our FAVE clips.

DrDrai.com cracks me up sometimes…. Still can’t believe we are 2 years old. WOW! Time sure does fly fast. We are RUNNING now. Before you know it Dr. Drai will have his own TV show. WINK! Giving you pertinent information in a fun, relatable way to keep you STD free, getting regular checkups and knowing more about your gynecological health has been my lifelong goal. This blog survives because of my #GYNEGirls, #Preggos, & #GENTs. YOU are the reason I’m achieving my dreams. No, really. Dr. Drai and DrDrai.com is nothing without all of you supporting me and I want to take THIS moment to say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to US, Boos! Let’s keep raising this kid TOGETHER. Hopefully we won’t have any of that TERRIBLE TWOs nonsense. Fingers Crossed! Until next time… Kisses!

Dr. Drai

Dr. Draion M. Burch, DO (Dr. Drai) – a highly respected, board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist – is a nationally-recognized author, speaker, consultant, and go-to media expert on women’s health and transgender health issues. He travels the country to meet with women one-on-one and in groups to provide and instruct on healthcare. Although Dr. Drai may be requested to spread his medical expertise to all four corners of the U.S., he always makes time to genuinely help those in need. As a pragmatic physician who offers endless charisma, high energy, and a larger-than-life personality, his “bedside manner” makes it obvious why his patients have named Dr. Drai “America’s OBGYN.” Dr. Drai is the founder and chief medical advisor of DrDrai.com, where he discusses actionable ideas and real-world strategies to help women take control of their health. As an openly gay gynecologist he has patients flocking to him and his website for not only his medical expertise, but because of the security they feel in the way he cares for, relates to, and teaches women about subjects ranging from embarrassing vaginal care to serious sexual assault. His mission: Real medical advice, simplified. Dr. Drai takes his unique brand to the camera on his YouTube channel to spill his popular “Medical T” (TIPS) helping his self-titled #Preggos, #GYNEGirls and #GENTs pursue a healthier life. Dr. Drai’s on-point advice on off-the-wall questions about sexual health issues has many calling him a “sexpert.” Dr. Drai earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine degree from The Ohio University and completed his internship and residency at Michigan State University.
